I was born in 1960, in Rosario,
the largest and the most populous city of the Argentine province
of Santa Fe, and the third most populous city in Argentina.
My parents, of Italian origin, emigrated to Argentina at
the beginning of the 50's, for a better life.
I grew up in the foundry of my father and when I was 10 years old I started to play with the aluminum, iron and glass. I started painting because my mother always bought me tempera and watercolors and she encouraged me to paint. Since I was little I liked the colors, so when I was 14-15 years old, I began to study afresco techniques and experience on my own. I tried to imitate Michelangelo and get inspiration from my argentinean favorite painter, Martin Quinquela. At the same time, I learned to weld, to work with metals and I had my first contact with marble. During childhood, I have always built my tools, because I didn't know where I can buy them.
When I was 16 years old, I started to work with my father in construction, where I learned everything about this area, including the construction of furniture, and I did this job for 10 years.
At 26 years old, I moved to England, to London, where with the help of the knowledge acquired in previous years (working with 7 types of metals, wood, plastic, glass and rubber) i was able to start my own business. My company has designed, built and decorated various types of shops: restaurants, bars, shopping centers, hotels, shops, both in England and in Spain, Germany and Italy. My move to England made me get back to painting and many of my paintings are painted there, because in London I always felt like home, I felt integrated, respected and inspired.
During a work project in Italy I met the love, which made me, at age 40, leave England for Italy, where I live today. Like England made me come back to painting, Italy got me turned to sculpture, another passion of mine.
Although I have painted all of my life, I did it from passion and in my free time, because I always developed other activities. In all these years, regardless of the activities that I've held, the painting has remained my great passion. I like the colors, shades and shapes and everything I manage to build with them.
I've always been autodidact, without having a determined style, I am an artist who always experiencing new forms, new techniques, ways and manners of creating art, an artist who prefers to create different day after day. I paint in different styles and techniques, therefore the monotony do not characterize me. At the end of 2014 I decided to devote myself to this passion and to present my creations from all these years, which are now over 300.
